Terms and Conditions

1. These terms

These terms are the agreement between you and WearIt. They cover the WearIt apps, this website and our browser extension. By creating an account or using WearIt, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use WearIt.

WearIt is for adults — you need to be 18 or older.

2. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping access to your email or sign-in provider secure. Tell us at hello@wearit.app if you think someone else has got into it.

One person, one account. Please do not share or resell access.

3. What you may upload

Only photos of yourself. This is the rule the whole product rests on.

• Not a photo of someone else, whether or not you know them and whether or not they agreed.
• Never a photo of a child, including yourself as a child.
• Nothing you do not have the right to use, and nothing unlawful.

What you upload stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to run the service for you — to store it, to pass it to our AI providers, to generate images from it, and to show those images back to you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not publish them.

4. What we will not generate

Two things are refused outright, and there is no setting that turns them off:

1. Swimwear, underwear and lingerie. Putting an identifiable person in intimate clothing has the shape of non-consensual imagery whoever asked for it, so we refuse the category rather than trying to draw a line inside it.
2. Anything that may involve a minor. If our checks are unsure, the answer is no. Occasionally that will refuse a perfectly innocent photo — being wrong the other way is not something you can undo.

Our AI providers apply their own checks as well, which can refuse a request for other reasons. A refusal is not a judgement about you, and it does not use up your allowance.

5. What a generated image is

Every image WearIt makes is synthetic. It is a machine’s idea of how something might look on you. It is not a photograph of you wearing that item, and it is not evidence that you own or wore anything.

• We make no claim about fit or size. WearIt shows how something might look. It does not measure you, and you should not choose a size based on it.
• Colour, fabric, drape and detail can all be wrong. Treat a look as an impression, not a product photo.
• Prices and product details come from the page you shared, and may be out of date or incorrect. We are not the seller and we are not part of anything you buy elsewhere.
• Generated images are marked as AI-generated. Please do not remove that, and do not present one as a real photograph.

6. Sharing

Nothing you make is public unless you create a share link. A link shows one image, says it is AI-generated, and you can switch it off at any time.

What you choose to share is up to you, and your responsibility. Please do not share a generated image in a way that misleads people, harasses anyone, or passes it off as real.

7. Free use and paid plans

WearIt is free to try. New accounts get an allowance of try-ons — the current number is shown in the app, and we may change it. Beyond that, carrying on needs a paid plan.

Paid plans are billed through the app store you installed from, under its terms, and you cancel there. We do not store your payment details.

8. Fair use

Please do not:

• use WearIt to impersonate anyone, or to create images of someone who is not you;
• try to work around the refusals in §4;
• scrape or resell the service, or use it to build a competing product;
• automate access outside the apps we publish, or put unusual load on the service;
• upload anything harmful, or interfere with the security of other accounts.

9. What belongs to whom

WearIt — its name, its software and its design — is ours. Nothing here transfers that to you.

The images WearIt makes for you are yours to use personally, subject to §5 and §6 and to the rights of whoever owns the clothing imagery you supplied. Brands and products that appear in the app belong to their owners; WearIt is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or selling on behalf of any of them.

10. Availability

WearIt is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted, that every generation will succeed, or that a particular look can be reproduced later. We may change or retire features, and we will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on where we can.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using WearIt whenever you like. Delete your account from Settings → Privacy, or email privacy@wearit.app and we will do it. Deleting your account removes your photos, your looks and your closet.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks §1, §3, §4 or §8. Where it looks like an honest mistake we will say what it was and give you a chance to put it right. Where it involves images of another person or of a child, we will close the account immediately.

12. Liability

Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law, and your rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Beyond that: we are not responsible for what you buy based on a generated image, for anything a third-party shop does, or for indirect losses. Where the law allows a limit, ours is the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Carrying on using WearIt afterwards means you accept the update.
